Three talented guys hailing from totally different walks of life, have come together through one common passion, to form one of the most successful and admired bands of the moment.
Since the band was established in March last year, The Streeters has soared to success, making an impact on music lovers throughout Murcia and Alicante; and proving that age and nationality pose no boundaries when it comes to music. The band plays a blend of music to suit audiences of all ages, from sixties and seventies classics, by the likes of The Doors, The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix; to contemporary hits from The Killers, Bruno Mars and Farrell Williams. Similar to their wide ranging musical repertoire, the band members themselves form quite an eclectic mix, with Lead Vocalist and Bassist, Oscar hailing from Bolivia, Drummer and Percussionist, Sergio being Spanish; and Lead Guitarist, Austin, originating from Rotherham, England, who aged just fifteen years old, has become a real focal point for their audiences. It was in fact this infusion of young talent, pointed out to QR by an enthusiastic groupie, that also sparked our interest in the up and coming, relatively new band on the block.
