Paddy's Point Golf Society - Pub Championship at Las Colinas, 14th July

For the first visit to Las Colinas Paddy's Point Golf Society took 32 players to compete in the annual "pub championship".  We arrived on probably the hottest day of the year and were welcomed by the Las Colinas staff, what a welcome it was, our buggies were all parked ready with water on board and every golfer received a complimentary bag tag engraved with their name.  We also received a free course planner and free use of the driving range.  Could this course get any better? put your money on it, it could!! With 12 minutes between tee offs this meant there should be no hold ups on the course unfortunately some of our players need to get their act together and move around the course a bit quicker.  The course itself is not overly long off the yellow tees, but your balls need to be in a good position to score well.  The fairways, greens and bunkers were in excellent condition, I can vouch for the bunkers! This is going to be a great course to play, a good test of golf for players of all levels.  Many thanks to Martin Eastgate and his staff for making it a great day out, we hope to see you again soon.
